All families who have not previously connected with our services are required to complete an intake process by phone or through email.  Specify in the email if services are for a child/adult with special needs or senior care. Include age, boy or girl, diagnosis, medical, behavioral, and/or personal care needs, how soon you would like to begin care.

Yes we do provide sibling care for an hourly fee. This fee is billed directly to the family.

Families and care providers are matched according to the needs of the family and the availability and experience of the care provider. The families are informed about care providers that would be available and then a meeting/interview is set up between the care provider and the family. This takes place in the family’s home.

Yes families have the same care provider for every shift

FSCD is billed directly when families have an active contract. If there is a difference from the contract rate and our rate families are responsible to pay the difference.

Families with a PDD Family managed contract are billed directly.

If families do not have an active contract with FSCD or PDD we bill the family

Senior services are billed directly to the family.

Our services are offered in the family’s home and in the community. Services can be provided for respite in care facilities and hospitals. We offer services in Calgary and surrounding area.
